The safety and security of our community is of the utmost importance to the Harris County MUD 504 Board. Because of this, at the March 2023 regular meeting, the Board unanimously voted to increase the law enforcement presence in The Groves. An additional deputy constable has joined the existing contingency as of the beginning of May 2023.
This increased law enforcement presence will be a visible deterrent to potential wrongdoers as well as provide residents with a increased sense of security.
In addition to the increased law enforcement, the HOA has invested in Flock Cameras. This enhanced surveillance technology aids law enforcement in monitoring vehicles coming in and out of the community. Flock Cameras use advanced technology to read license plates and provide instant alerts to law enforcement when the cameras detect license plates matching those on lists of stolen vehicles.
When a license plate match occurs, Flock Cameras send instant alerts to law enforcement officers, providing them with the necessary information to take appropriate action. The alerts can help identify stolen vehicles, aid in investigations, and assist law enforcement in locating and apprehending suspects or vehicles involved in criminal activities.
