Boil Water Notice Rescinded

BWN Update:

2:00 p.m. January 4, 2025

Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 504 (HCMUD 504) would like to advise residents the boil water notice (BWN) has been rescinded effective today, January 4, 2025. Water consumption is safe for use.

The water plant experienced a leak as a result of a defective valve, causing the water pressure to quickly decline; this led to the need to execute a BWN (impacting HCMUD 504 as well as another neighboring District). The leak has since been repaired, and pressure has been restored.

When something like this happens, there are internal triggers and communications in place between the water operator and our HCMUD 504 Board of Directors. In this instance, the moment the water pressure dropped these efforts went into effect, and immediate communication to our residents began.

If you continue to experience water service issues after this notice, please contact the District Operator, Inframark, directly at the General Customer Service Number: (281) 579-4500, or for after-hour emergencies, please contact Inframark Dispatch team at (281) 398-8211.

If you did not receive a text message notification regarding this event, please sign up on the District Alerts page, https://hcmud504.com/alerts.
